As a large-scale and high-standard annual automotive event in the western region, since its establishment in 1998, the Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition has been forging ahead, adhering to innovative development. After 25 years of growth and transformation, it has stood out from numerous regional auto shows and firmly ranked among the top four A-class auto shows in China.
The 26th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition was held at the Western China International Expo City from August 25th to September 3rd, 2023.
Chengdu Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Co., Ltd. and the Sichuan Council for the Promotion of International Trade have joined hands. With the strong support of the Automotive Industry Sub-council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, they have continuously enriched the exhibition content, established the exhibition’s individuality and improved the exhibition quality, presenting a grand automotive feast in western China to all sectors of society.
Highlights of the 2023 exhibition: The 26th Chengdu International Automobile Exhibition has reached an international high level in terms of scale, innovative models and venue order. More than 120 domestic and foreign automotive brands, including German, American, French, Japanese, Korean, joint-venture and domestic independent brands, participated in the exhibition. Approximately 1,600 vehicles were on display, and the exhibition area reached 200,000 square meters.
Highlights of previous exhibitions: Many “new players in vehicle manufacturing” and new energy brands under traditional automakers have unveiled new models, starting a new journey at the Chengdu Auto Show in a “fully charged” stance. New vehicle releases, themed activities, media meetings, star endorsements and forum summits have run through the entire auto show. The cross-border cooperation of “automakers + Internet” has enabled smart cars to move towards the future. There are more immersive exhibition experiences, more interactions between people and vehicles, and more opportunities for test drives.

Preferential policies: Children under 1.3 meters (inclusive) can visit for free.
Must-see tips: This year’s auto show will continue to strengthen user-friendly services, increase service points and optimize service details. There are service areas such as information desks, large luggage storage areas, infirmaries, mother and baby rooms, and dining and rest areas. Please do not buy food and drinks sold by unlicensed vendors around the venue to avoid harming your health. During the exhibition, please pay attention to the weather and make relevant preparations for heat prevention and rain protection. Please take good care of your valuables.
